Hi, and welcome.

In this guide, we are going to teach you how to build a simple frame for Runner Beans that is going to be strong enough to hold up against the pesky wind!

If you’re interested in this, and reached this page with the intention to build a Runner Bean Frame then look no further we have got you covered dude.

What You’ll Need

  • Bamboo
  • Medium strength string
  • Bread knife
  • Scissors

You can buy 6-foot bamboo canes, medium-strength gardening string, and a serrated flip-knife (optional) from a good gardening center.

If you’re like us and you always make mistakes… then you’ll want to buy more bamboo than you need because sometimes you can snap it.

Get some scissors. Your flip knife, super sharp knife, a small serrated knife, or a bread knife.

Get bamboo, if you have an abundance, or perhaps some old bamboo, you should lightly bend it against the ground to check its strength; if it maintains its original shape then it’s super strong.

Smack it against the floor too if you like, if it starts to split after 2-3 hits then you should use that as your smaller pieces to the frame, or for something else!

If it’s new however then it should be in perfect condition (ideally).

Head on over to page 2.
